Therapeutic exercise

1. Clinical Pilates

Clinical Pilates is a safe method of therapeutic exercise, which can be applied by all and is used as a rehabilitation tool in musculoskeletal and neurological cases. It is particularly effective in reducing pain, preventing injuries, and improving posture.

The instructing of Clinical Pilates can be done individually or in small groups, while the program of exercises is adapted to the specific needs of each individual after a detailed evaluation.

Our Physiotherapy Centre has in our premises all the Pilates equipment available, thus giving the opportunity to choose and adapt to the needs of everyone.

Clinical Pilates is taught on our premises by certified physiotherapists and can be applied to a wide range of pathologies, as well as to specific population groups (pregnant women, athletes, children, the elderly).

2. Functional training

Functional training, i.e., functional exercise, aims to strengthen the whole body, so that it can meet daily requirements, but also sports activities.

It is part of the Physiotherapy program either for the rehabilitation of injuries or for their prevention. The goals of each participant are determined, always in collaboration with the Physiotherapists of our centre and after evaluation, depending on their physical condition and the requirements of their daily life.

The physiotherapist creates a complete exercise program designed to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and endurance. It is also part of the program for the rehabilitation of injuries, as well as their prevention.

The program includes exercises with body weight, using equipment such as straps / TRX, tires, dumbbells, etc., and is performed both individually and in small groups.
